History

Our motivation

Mothers Who Care was established to provide home and community support we all expect and never consistently receive for our loved ones who require support in the disability sector.

A Brisbane-based organisation co-founded by Vanessa Laub and Claire Nicoll who know firsthand the challenge and the solution to deliver in home and community support.

Claire and Vanessa met in 2009 when they crossed paths within the disability sector.  Both having children who need ongoing support, the mothers formed a strong bond.  From then on the compassionate duo have become a formidable team, and it reflects in the values of Mothers Who Care.

Our Drive

Mission

From professional associates to friends and now directors and founders of Mothers Who Care, they are providing a level of service and care in the disability sector that is being highly sought after by families and care givers across South East Queensland.

With their complete understanding, knowledge and compassion for their clients and families, the love and happiness the team are experiencing supports the vision brought about by their anxiety of poor service. Their goal is to make a difference, and to shine a light by providing families with the right supports that are matched to the client’s needs.

The duo’s approach is individual and the expectation of their staff is no less than five stars, as they have experienced disappointing service and support along their own personal journeys which has been the inspiration behind Mothers Who Care. With encouragement from friends, family, community and colleagues, Mothers Who Care was born.
